Enchanted Whimsies

I was thrilled to find out over the weekend that I’ve been selected June 2009 Froudian Artist of the Month. The amazing art of the Frouds has been and continues to be a huge inspiration for me.

She is built on an 8″ armature and is removeable from the base. There are so many fun details like the tiny brass keys on her keyring, real watch parts on her outfit and base, vintage vacuum tubes…this was a fun piece to put together! I just listed her on ebay, auction will run through May 24. **Auction ends tonight!!**

This is the largest doll I have created so far, she is 20″ with the headpiece. The limbs,upperbody/head are sculpted from Prosculpt. Orlagh is on ebay until May 17. edit: I am having trouble changing/adding more images to this post. There are better photos of her on ebay.

I finished the  Steampunk Fairy, she is 6.5″ tall and has amazing hand-tooled aluminum wings.
